About Us

EKLIPSE is a rock-pop string quartet.

The four women, Felicitas, Maline (violin), Linda (cello), and Ida (viola), deliver a rousing rock show and convey pure joy in playing.

EKLIPSE proves that a string quartet can also cut a fine figure on a rock stage.
Comparable to Lindsey Stirling or Apocalyptica, the band performs without a singer, but accompanied by electronic backing tracks.

The audience celebrates and dances to cover versions of well-known songs and EKLIPSE’s own originals. The musicians describe their genre as BOW POP. They boldly combine pop, rock and metal  with their distinctive electronically accompanied quartet sound and seem to have outrageous fun doing so. They also radiate this fundamentally positive energy on stage. They play and host their way through the evening with power and wit.

The name of their current album, “Kaleidoscope,” says it all. The record is colorful,
multifaceted, and surprising, just like a picture of this magical toy.

Not only are your ears in for a treat, but your eyes are too: visually, EKLIPSE has a high
recognition value thanks to their black and gold color scheme, rocking outfits, and makeup.

EKLIPSE has a long history, but when a surprise gig in India in 2018 laid the foundation for the band’s reformation, they went independent. Their creative
process is characterized by the desire to do as much as possible themselves and, above all, to do so sustainably.

EKLIPSE looks back on a history full of collaborations: opening act for Nightwish, US tour with Kamelot, joint tours with Joachim Witt and Forced to Mode, opening act and performance with Versengold at the sold-out Barclays Arena, Fashion Week and festival appearances (NCN, M’era Luna, PWLM, etc.) and much more. There are also feature songs with Melissa Bonny (Ad Infinitum), Malte Hoyer (Versengold), and The Dark Tenor, among others.
